Welcome Audrey & Jeff!

01/23/2024

We are excited to welcome two new managers to the Bluefin Bay team - Audrey Mays-Trimble and Jeff Ross! Audrey is the new Events Coordinator and Jeff is the new Manager at the Bluefin Grille. We are so excited to have them join the Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts team. Below, you will find a little more about each of them.

Audrey Mays-Trimble
Audrey grew up in Ohio & moved to the Twin Cities for work. After that, her and her partner moved from there back to Ohio, over to Montana and then up to Alaska for her partner’s job. While there, her partner received a job offer from Lutsen Mountains. When they lived in the cities, they came to the North Shore every year, so it felt like it was meant to be. Now they both reside on the North Shore and are hoping to stay for as long as they can. Audrey has always tried new things. She was a flight attendant for many years, has planned children’s outdoor recreation programs, ran an organic farm greenhouse and was an advocate for homeless youth. In that time, she was able to find ways of planning events, either outside of work or incorporating events into her other positions. She’s organized farmer’s markets, fall festivals, children’s parties, zoo fundraisers, the Irish fair of Minnesota and education meet & greets. And is now thrilled to be at Bluefin Bay!
Fun Fact: Audrey was an Irish dancer for a decade, so St. Patrick’s Day is a very big deal in her world.

Jeff Ross
Jeff has lived in some pretty cool places across the U.S., including Alaska, the Florida Keys, and California, mainly working in restaurants that cater to the seasonal crowd. Glacier National Park in Montana was his top pick  (location-wise at least) where he spent four summers. His latest adventure brought him to the North Shore of Minnesota. He hadn't checked out this part of the country before but saw an ad on CoolWorks that caught his eye. He has now been here for about half a year.
Fun Fact: Jeff climbed a volcano with flowing lava coming down the side in Guatemala.
