Sean Henkenius is the name and outdoor recreation is the game! Born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, Sean now proudly calls the North Shore home. He’s excited to help guests discover the magic of the Northwoods and Lake Superior while making this summer one to remember.
Maxwell Frost is from the small town of Boy River, Minnesota, and recently graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. A lifelong fisherman and outdoor enthusiast, his passion for the outdoors truly took off after his first Boundary Waters trip in college. Since then, he’s spent countless hours hiking, camping, and paddling throughout Minnesota. While attending school, Maxwell worked on the North Shore at Creaking Tree Farm, where he quickly fell in love with the area. Returning to the shore after college had always been the goal, and now with Bluefin Bay, he’s excited to help create memorable outdoor experiences for others.
The North Shore is Andrea’s home away from home. A Twin Cities resident, she loves getting outside and taking in all the sights, sounds, and fresh air the area has to offer. She’s currently working through the Superior Hiking Trail in sections and is excited to log even more miles this summer.
Craig spends most of his time outdoors exploring and learning about everything the beautiful Northwoods of Minnesota have to offer. He has a passion for canoeing and trekking to remote places far off the beaten path. When he’s not outside adventuring, he also enjoys snowboarding and making music. This summer, Craig is excited to immerse himself in the North Shore community he’s grown to love. Cheers to a great season!
AJ lives in Grand Marais with his wife and daughter. As a family, they love exercising, traveling, and enjoying great food together. AJ is excited to connect with new people, spend time outdoors, and help guests experience all the beauty the North Shore has to offer.
Shirah is beyond excited for this season on the North Shore! She loves wandering the outdoors, especially when it involves snacks with a stunning view. When she’s not outside exploring, you can usually find her painting, reading, journaling, practicing yoga, or attempting all the recommended wellness habits. Shirah is excited to learn more about the area’s plants, geology, clouds, and history while making meaningful memories both on and off the clock.
