Memorial Day is only a week away, and this weekend will see the North Shore coming to life. Winter is long here in God’s country, so when summer finally comes around we like to savor it. Come join us on the Shore for the weekend when everything kicks off!
On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy the Memorial Weekend Art along the Lake: Start in Schroeder and stop at galleries to take in the coolest one-of-a-kind scheduled activities planned at galleries.
On Saturday, cyclists will compete in the second annual Le Grand du Nord Gravel Cycling Classic, Grand Marais. Racers will traverse one of the most epic courses in the country.
Saturday also marks the season opening day for the Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center. Located on beautiful Saganaga Lake, come learn about the area’s cultural and natural history through interpretive and interactive exhibits.
All weekend long Voyager Brewing Company is offering tours of their award winning brewery.
There will be live music up and down the Shore all weekend long. Most notably, Saturday evening has the Classic Country Music Show at the Gunflint Lodge, and on Sunday night Pushing Chain will be playing the Raven Rock Grill. We, here at Bluefin, will also be kicking off our summer campfire music series Saturday night with the renowned Joe Paulik, and then Monday night one of the foremost guitarists in the country, Scott Fraser, will play our Bluefin Grille (reservations are advised). We can’t wait to welcome you here at Bluefin Bay. Come help us celebrate the start of another beautiful summer in Minnesota’s most beautiful place.
