Snowshoe or Winter Hike at Oberg Mountain

Meet at Guest Services

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This activity will be a guided winter tour of Oberg Mountain! Join us as we travel up to the top of one of the favorite year-round destinations of guests and locals. You’ll be rewarded with breathtaking overlooks of Lake Superior and the Sawtooth Mountain Range. This tour is geared to beginners and may serve as a lesson to improve your skills. When the snow is deep and fluffy we will outfit everyone with snowshoes for the trek. When the trail is covered in packed snow we will outfit our boots in yak tracks for a non-slip hike.

Difficulty: Easy-Moderate

Distance: 1.5-2.5 miles

No reservations are taken in advance for the shuttle, and all participants are required to wear a mask when they ride in a Bluefin Bay Resorts shuttle.

Masks are required at the trailhead and in areas where physical distancing is not possible. If you don’t have one, your resort guide will offer masks prior to the trip.

If you’ve experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, we ask you to stay back and not participate in the hike. Thank you in advance for helping to protect fellow guests, our staff and community at large.
