Fall Color Kayak

8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join us on a new fall kayaking adventure to experience the North Shore’s breathtaking fall colors from the water.

On this guided trip, we’ll depart from Bluefin Bay Guest Services and drive through one the most scenic maple forests in all of Superior National Forest. On this driving tour, colors can range from vibrant oranges, reds, yellows. The scenery does not stop there. We continue our adventure to a remote lake within the Superior National Forest where we’ll take a leisurely paddle in a wilderness setting.

As with all of our resort guided adventures, we’ll provide the gear as well as instruction. So, whether you’re an experienced kayaker or you’ve always wanted to learn, we’ll facilitate a fun and safe experience for all.

Tip: Be sure to bring to dress for North Shore Fall weather (layers with a jacket) and bring your phone/camera as we’re likely to spot some wildlife along the way.

Stay Safe 2020 Update: Please note that our safety protocols for resort guided activities have changed during Covid-19. Our recreational kayaks are two-person tandem kayaks and guests participating must be paired with one other person from their family/friend group. Please sign-up in even groups as our kayaks cannot accommodate solo kayakers or odd-numbered groups. For safety reasons, no one can be paired outside their family/friend group.

We’re recommending that all participants drive separately to area trailheads and offsite locations. If requested, we’ll have resort shuttle space for one family/friend group of up to four people on a first come, first-served basis. All participants are required wear a mask if they choose to ride in a Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts shuttle.

Masks are also required for all participants during the start of the trip and throughout the demonstration and boarding process. Masks will be given out prior to the trip, and we thank you for helping protect other guests, our staff, and community at large.

As with all of our resort activities, we encourage you to stay back if you’ve experienced any symptoms associated with Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
