Our Waves, Our Days

Welcome to the blog of the Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts

With help from surveys and other forms of various feedback from our longtime guests of Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts, the Bluefin Grille is proud to announce a brand new menu for the Spring of 2013, which was released last week.

Many of the traditional favorites that guests considered to be "classics" have been brought back, such as the popular Mesquite Turkey Sandwich, Duck and Wild Rice Chowder, and the Coquille St. Jacques, which features seared scallops in our famous champagne cream sauce.

The changes didn't entail just bringing back classics. There are several brand new items from salads to sandwiches and entrees. You can find the new menus here. We're confident you'll like what you see and taste!

Bluefin Bay SnowshoeThe weather this winter has been great for all outdoor activities.

Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts offers snowshoe excursions three times a week. This activitiy is complimentary to guests at any of our three properties.

Our guides pick a different location every day and the options range from mountains with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Superior to frozen rivers leading up to ice-topped waterfalls with water flowing beneath. Guests have the opportunity to take to the trails on their own as well. Snowshoes and cross-country skis can be checked out at the Guest Services building at Bluefin Bay.
