New Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts Summer Activities

Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts is proud to announce some additional activities this summer,Temperance River State Park as well as our traditional summer lineup.

Wolf Ridge Naturalist Programs:

 

This summer we will be collaborating with Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center to provide naturalist programs at the Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts. As complimentary programs for our guests, Wolf Ridge’s expert naturalists will lead a wide array of fun and informative programs for adults and kids alike. We are very excited about this partnership and think it is something that our guests will thoroughly enjoy! Starting June 19th, these programs will be offered weekly Tuesday-Saturday throughout the summer.

Group Tennis Lessons:

Last year, we resurfaced our tennis court, and this year we continue to make improvements to our guest tennis experience, as we will be providing tennis lessons on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer.

The Return of Sea Kayaking

One of our most popular guest activities will return on June 2nd! Sign up for sea kayaking is Lake Superior Kayakingcurrently open for all of our guests ages 14 and up.

There will be 3 time slots available on Saturdays and Sundays until June 17th, when it will be available every day during the summer.

Whether you've kayaked before or not, this is a perfect opportunity to get out and experience kayaking on Lake Superior. On windier days, we will relocate to either Taconite Harbor or the scenic Caribou Lake near Lutsen.

Renovations Update

Over the last month, Bluefin Bay has undergone Bluefin Bay Desk Remodela facelift in some areas of the resort.

The first major project was to make our Guest Services building more efficient for both our guests and our staff. This included getting rid of the high counter on our front desk and replacing the countertops with a more appealing look as well. We also put in new carpet, with a non-slip tiled area around the desk.
