Wolf Ridge Naturalist Hike - The Changing Faces of Temperance River

The Temperance River has not always looked as it does today. There was a time when lava flowed over the face of the North Shore and when glaciers two miles thick scoured the land. Drastic changes have happened much more recently too, when the lumberjacks of lore sawed down many of the giant red and white pine trees. This two hour program led by a Wolf Ridge naturalist is open to all ages. (Difficulty: Easy/Moderate).
