Come enjoy classical music with harpist Janell Lemire and flutist Betty Braunstein.

Betty is a tenured member of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and a chamber music recitalist.

She also performs with 6AroundOne, a world music band fluent in Latin and Celtic styles.

Previously an instructor at The University of Minnesota, Duluth and Northland College, Ashland, Betty now teaches students of all ages and ability in the Twin Port communities of Duluth and Superior as well as at her home in Ashland, Wisconsin.

Janell Lemire is a 1981 graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is the solo harpist with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (since 1983) and the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, and the UMD Festival Orchestra. She is adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota , Duluth, and University of Wisconsin-Superior, and College of St. Scholastica. Janell studied with nationally known harpist, Kathy Kienzle- (principal harpist of the Minnesota Orchestra & former harpist for the Dale Warland Singers), and continues Suzuki training and pedagogy with Mary Kay Waddington (Suzuki harp founder). Janell teaches traditional and Suzuki harp lessons to students of all ages. Ms. Lemire has been a guest clinician for summer institutes in Salt Lake City, UT., Stevens Point, WI and Lafayette, Colorado. Internationally, in June of 2008, Janell along with the harp students in the Lake Superior Suzuki Talent Education Program gave two concerts in Madrid, Spain. They performed solo and collaboratively with the Suzuki students of the Estimulos Suzuki School of Madrid.
