Many of us have been wondering what happened to the snow... Well, we don't any more. Just when we started decorating Cristmas tree at Bluefin Grille, big snowflakes began covering the ground. It does make the Holiday season exciting and special, doesn't it?

We here at Bluefin Bay wish you an early happy Thanksgiving and invite you to come spend it with us! There is still time and availability to plan a long-holiday-weekend getaway to the North Shore. Join us for a delicious Thanksgiving buffet put on by the Bluefin Grille as well as plenty other area activities including guided hikes, agate picking, and plenty of kid's crafts and events. Groups of women came to Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts on Nov 12-15 for a weekend of fun, pampering and play. Activities included happy hours, outdoor guided hikes, yoga, cooking workshop, health and wellness workshops and the first ever Women's Expo featuring women-owned businesses and artisans from the North Shore.

Fall Food and Wine Lovers Weekend at Bluefin Grille was absolutely fantastic! The guest chef Craig Vieira from Caribou Restaurant & Wine Bar in Thunder Bay treated gourmet food lovers with such dishes as Moroccan lamb shank, braised beef cheeks or sugar pumpkin risotto with scallops. Guests also tasted and compared wines from Sothern and Northern hemispheres.

Since June, hundreds of Bluefin Bay Guests have partaken in our 25th anniversary trivia contest. Trivia question topics range from Tofte history, Bluefin history, area attractions/activities, etc. and change each month. All correct trivia forms are entered into a monthly drawing for 25% off your next stay at Bluefin. At the end of the year (January 2010), we will draw a Grand Prize winner who will receive a free two night stay!
