Winter Does Not Want to Leave
Winter hit the North Shore with its biggest storm on Tuesday. We received 18"-24" of snow in Schroeder-Tofte-Lutsen area. As soon as Bluefin Bay was getting ready for spring, the heavy snow covered everything in white. Our maintenance staff has been plowing and shoveling for 2 days now, and still has a lot to finish. Piles of ice and snow on the lake shore grew into a giant mountain that stands right in front of Bluefin Grille windows and astonishes our guests. We long for spring, however, the lake Superior, the north shore and Bluefin Bay are absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking in their winter outfit.
