Winter Activities Update at Bluefin Bay




















The ice storm has passed and snow is in the forecast for this weekend! We're hearty souls on the rugged north shore of Lake Superior on America's North Coast, and we still have a host of winter activities in full swing at Bluefin Bay, including:

- Downhill skiing and snowboarding at Lutsen Mountains with a total of 59 runs still open and a 24-42 " base (free shuttle to and from Bluefin Bay)
- Sled dog rides
- Guided snowshoe hikes
- Campfire and smores by the ice skating rink Thursday- Sunday nights
- A kid' craft activity on Saturday from 2 -3 p.m.
- Extended pool hours until 11 p.m. at both our indoor and outdoor pools

Welcome to the Ice Wonderland


















The ice storm hit the north shore yesterday. Ice is everywhere-on trees, rocks, buildings, power lines, roads and cars. It surely looks like an Ice Wonderland-pretty, magic and romantic. Except of the falling trees and slippery paths. Even the most giant trees do not look that solid anymore-they are making timid bows.


The forecast says that the Ice Wonderland will last for a few days. So, please, be careful when driving or walking. However, don't forget your camera- you can get the most beautiful shots you have ever imagined! Even the ones who have lived here for many years can not remember such beauty.

Guest Appreciation Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day
