The fall color of the maples continues to spill over the ridgeline delighting all that drive inland from Lake Superior. The second season of fall colors is yet to come when the golds of the aspen and birch will frame Bluefin Bay.

Mid September and the ridges are starting to show their color. However, you won't see this color from highway 61. Venture inland a few miles to find the band of maples that are turning bright orange and red.



As the maples continue to turn, the woods will become more alive with color. If you need suggestions on driving routes, stop by the front desk.
