Outdoor Pool
Open year-round and located adjacent to the Grand Superior Units 55 - 57, across the Bay from The Bluefin Grille. Men's and Women's changing rooms, complete with Guest towels and showers, are available next to the pool.

Outdoor Hot Tub/Spa
Located next to the outdoor pool, the Outdoor Spa offers a unique year-round experience. Feel the snow gently falling all around as you stay cozy and warm in the swirling water overlooking Lake Superior.

Indoor Pool
Located in the central Recreation Complex, the pool is 20 X 40 feet with depths ranging from 3' to 8'. Men's and Women's changing rooms, complete with Guest towels and showers, are available adjacent to the pool area.

Indoor Whirlpool/Spa
Located in the central Recreation Complex, the Spa offers a relaxing interlude.

Exercise Room
Located adjacent to the outdoor pool and spa, our exercise room features the finest in aerobic work-out equipment by Lifecycle - including treadmill, stairmaster, upright and recumbent exercycles.

Tennis Court
Located across from Units 44 - 53, the Tennis Court is always available for play as long as light permits. Tennis rackets and balls available at Guest Services.

Children's Play Area
Located adjacent to the Tennis Court the Children's Play Area features swings, a slide, climbing bars and more.

Mountain Bikes
Specialized Hard Rock A-1 and A-1 Comp mountain bikes. Featuring 21 and 24 speed gears, Hard Rock Indy and Judy front suspension shocks. Frame sizes from 13" to 21", with 25+ bikes complimentary for Guest use. Safety bike helmets and water bottles are also provided.

In-Step Bicycle Trailers/Strollers
Take your kids on the Gitchi Gami paved bike trail right next to Bluefin in our bike trailers. Trailers can seat two small children or a single child (weight limit: 100 lbs.) and offer a safety 5-point harness system. They can also be converted into strollers for a walking trek around the resort or a stroll on the Gitchi Gami!

Sea Kayaking
Bluefin Guests have the unique opportunity to take a sea kayaking lesson on Lake Superior. No experience necessary. Current Designs double and single sea kayaks are available. Wetsuits and all safety gear will be provided to you and can accommodate most sized paddlers.

Bluefin Bay's Fischer Key Nordic Ski Center
Provides Guests with a variety of Nordic skis including waxable and waxless classic skis as well as a selection of skate skis for all weights and sizes. Swix Alu-light poles, Salomon and Fischer boots. Swix Nordic Waxing Center is available for Guests to prep their skis for the day.

Snowshoes
Atlas and Redfeather lightweight aluminum snowshoes of all sizes for exploration in the deep snow and river beds. Guided tours will be scheduled to take you to the most beautiful areas of the North Coast. Children's snowshoes are also available for the young who may want to make wolf prints in the snow.

Ice Skates
Hockey and Figure Skates are available in a variety of sizes for Guests to check-out and use on Bluefin's outdoor ice skating rink.

Bluefin Shuttle Bus
Our 14 passenger shuttle bus provides complimentary shuttles to area hiking, biking, cross country and snowshoe trail heads as well as Lutsen Mountains downhill ski area.

Lakewalk
Beginning at Tofte Cove and wrapping around Bluefin Bay, our lakewalk takes you to the Tofte Town Park for a unique and historical experience.

The Tofte Meeting Room
Located in the Recreation Complex, the Tofte Meeting Room is available by appointment for meetings, gatherings, wedding parties or other events. Audio/Visual Equipment and other meeting amenities are available upon request. Food and refreshment service can be arranged. Please contact the Front Desk or Manager on Duty for further information.

Barbeque Grills
There are six (6) gas Barbeque Grills located on the property for your convenience. The grills are located:

1. Adjacent to the Tennis Court
2. Beside the sidewalk to the Recreation Complex
3. Across from Units 1-9
4. Between Units 57 & 58
5. Across from Units 64-69
6. Next to Units 70-72

There are also a number of charcoal/wood Barbeque grills available at the Tofte Town Park, adjacent to Bluefin.

Picnic Areas
The Tofte Town Park, on Old Tofte Road next to Bluefin, has many pleasant picnic possibilities, as does the shoreline just east of The Bluefin Grille.

Fire Pits
Located on the shore next to the Bluefin Grille is a fire pit area for Guest use. A second fire pit is located at the base of the historic Boat Ramp in Tofte Cove.

Shoreline
The shoreline around Bluefin Bay is beautiful in its natural state, yet can be rough and uneven as it includes cliffs, boulders and ledge rock. Please use caution and monitor children. A walk along the "Old Road" past the Fire Hall, down to the Tofte Town Park and on to Godin's Sugar Beach Resort is lovely during all seasons.
